Sky4 Aviation was started in 2001 (officially) but it has a history going back to the early 60's based at Thruxton: working continuously on Sailplanes and Light Aircraft to the present day. Mike King's Flying Started back in 63 in a Jackeroo G-APAM (now converted back to a Moth). We like to concentrate on Vintage when-ever possible, keeping the old skills of wood and fabric alive. Historic aircraft are of particular interest to us and love working on them and restoring them to all their glory. |
Certificates of Airworthiness and Permits are carried out on a regular basis along with general maintenance schedules. We have had all sorts of airframes in over the years from a Tipsy Nipper to a Rapide, from a K6e to a Dynaero MCR01.
